Now Playing: The Best Small Library in America
Hello! This is my first attempt at blogging. I'm behind the curve for a librarian. This one will be short and I'll catch up later. I have been informed that our tiny little library has been nominated as the Best Small Library in AMERICA!!!! This award is sponsored by Library Journal and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. If we win, we will receive $10,000 for our library, and two staff members will receive paid memberships and travel expenses to attend the Public Library Association in Boston in March. I have no illusions that we will win this, but if you want to send a letter of support, I would be glad to give you the details.
